Initial Impression Form
The initial impressions form is a form that I used when observing my students both in and out of the classroom. When observing my students, I looked at their observable behaviors, learning styles, as well as the cognitive, physical, and social development of each student. I used the initial impressions form to record these observations. I also recorded one to two possible strengths or areas that the student needs support in as well as a significant interest and personal fact about that student. Collecting this information provided me with the opportunity to learn more about each one of my students. The information collected on the initial impressions forms will help guide my planning, teaching, and assessment of my students. I have complied the information that I have gathered from three students in my classroom and provided it as an attachment. One student is a high level, one is a middle level, and one is a low level student from my classroom.
