EDCI 270 Undergraduate Teacher's Assistant
Over the course of the four years I spent attending Purdue University, I was selected to be an undergraduate teacher's assist for EDCI 270 for four semesters. EDCI 270 is an introduction to educational technology and computing course that is required for all Education majors at Purdue to take. I took this course as a Freshman and immediately fell in love with the purpose, learning goals, and projects that are incorporated into this class. Throughout this course, students learn how to use programs such as Microsoft Word Processing, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Weebly Blog site,as well as many online computer programs. When taking this course, I was able to learn about how I can incorporate technology into my classroom on an every day basis. While working as a teacher's assistant, I was not only able to keep learning the newest technology programs and trends, but I was able to teach Purdue Education majors about how to incorporate these programs and technologies into their future classrooms.
